Last week, Tobun was invited to speak at the first Startup Grind London event for 2022. The virtual event was a panel discussion about diversity and inclusion in the investing and start up ecosystem.
Tobun shared a panel alongside Ezechi Britton MBE, who is a founding member of venture capital firm ImpactX and the moderator for the event was Gary Stewart, the Founder and CEO of FounderTribes, a platform created for investors, mentors and founders to connect with each other.
The event provided fantastic insights and practical suggestion to support start-up founders seeking direction when raising capital for their business.
Ezechi Britton informed people looking for investments that “there is change happening, more funds for minority ethnic people are happening...” and Tobun highlighted that "We have to be strategic when putting our boards together, it is important to put the right people together"
