“An entrepreneur has to have the self-belief they know what they're doing, whilst managing an enterprise where between morning to evening anything could happen that can shift your plan”
Tevin Tobun.
Tevin Tobun CEO
Tevin Tobun is a business leader, tech entrepreneur, and philanthropist with over two decades of experience founding and scaling companies across diverse sectors and three continents.
Tobun is the founder and CEO of Routd Technology, an AI-powered logistics intelligence platform transforming how organisations manage last-mile delivery, vending services, micromarts, and warehouse operations. Built to improve visibility, efficiency, and accountability across complex supply chains, Routd harnesses the power of AI and machine learning to drive measurable operatioanl efficiencies - helping clients reduce costs, cut waste, and operate smarter at scale.
His broader portfolio of businesses - including GV Group, one of the UK's leading independently owned B2B last-mile food logistics specialists, Platebox, which delivers over 25 million school meals annually, and Repco Global, supporting renewable energy and infrastructure projects worldwide - collectively distribute goods worth more than £400 million each year.
With a deep personal desire to create equal educational and workplace opportunities for all, Tobun established The Tobun Foundation in 2015. The foundation's mission is to provide underprivileged young people across the UK with the support, mentorship, and resources they need to achieve their goals.
The Journey
Tobun's entrepreneurial story began after graduating from Middlesex University London. Identifying a gap in the market, he launched a design and build business focused on space reconfiguration in schools and educational institutions. After numerous pitches and failed funding attempts, he secured investment, won the bid, and GV Group was born.
Over the following two decades, and after completing his executive education at University of Cambridge Judge Business School, Tobun evolved the business into a leading food logistics operation, growing it to over 500 employees. Recognising the deep inefficiencies that persisted across the logistics sector, he set out to address them at their root - not just operationally, but technologically. The result was Routd: a platform purpose-built to bring data, automation, and intelligence to an industry long overdue for transformation.
Recognition and Leadership
Tobun has been consistently named among the Top 100 Most Influential Black Britons. He holds honorary doctorates from Middlesex University (Business) and the Royal Docks Business School, UEL (Business & Technology). He serves on the Lloyds Bank Business Advisory Board and the Council of The Open University. In 2023, he was inducted into the Dr Martin Luther King Jr Board of Sponsors at Morehouse College, and in 2025 received the Freedom of the City of London in recognition of his contributions to business and philanthropy.
